Regional Train Performance

these extensions to our Mid Atlantic Train Finding Tools page use trace information gathered over time in an attempt to provide some indication of the confidence with which you can trust our schedule-based predictions. as such they are a bidirectional measurement -- of trains against their schedules but also of our schedules against reality.

search terms are ANDed together. the more of them you specify, the tighter your results.
train symbol matches a string or substring, e.g., H matches all H-series locals, 174 matches Q174 and L174, etc.
description also matches a string or substring; for possible values see the CSX or Norfolk Southern train symbol list. a leading dash works as an exclusion operator, e.g., specify -local to exclude local trains.
all fields are optional -- incomplete or missing values match from context e.g., when date range is specified by month but not day, etc.
bandwidth conservation is enabled by default but may be reset by those who wish more data.

in its current form this query works only against a single train symbol, and covers only CSX (a future expansion of scope will support corresponding data for Norfolk Southern).
